Here's your first tip...

Volume limits

Have you ever accidentally set your volume too high, only to have your ears start ringing? If so, you know just how important it is to have some kind of protection in place to prevent these types of accidents. That's where volume limits come in.

You can set volume limits for each audio device by clicking the volume icon in Roon, then the gear icon, then choosing Volume limits. You'll be able to set two types of limits for each audio device.

Comfort Limit provides a consistent listening experience by keeping the volume within a specific range. It prevents Roon's volume slider from going outside the range you've defined, so you'll have to use the + and - buttons on the volume control to go beyond the limits.

The Safety Limit, on the other hand, protects against potentially dangerous sound pressure levels. Roon will never allow you to exceed this limit on the selected device.

Volume limits are a great tool for maintaining a consistent listening experience, and protecting your equipment (and your ears!).
